Design work, et al.
“Massimo Vignelli” | Designer accordian, 2016
Immersed in the legacy of a design icon, I crafted a pamphlet celebrating Massimo Vignelli’s life and groundbreaking work. By weaving together bold imagery and curated storytelling in his unmistakable style, the piece serves as both a tribute and a showcase, capturing the spirit of his innovations and the timeless elegance of his design philosophy.
Social Awareness Campaign | “The End Zone”, 2016
"The End Zone" was a social cause campaign that used the power of design to raise awareness about the connection between one of America’s largest sporting events and human trafficking. While high-profile events like the Super Bowl can heighten the risk of trafficking, they also offer a critical opportunity for disruption through awareness, prevention, and intervention.
As the campaign’s final product, "The End Zone" was printed and spiral-bound into a physical book — a thoughtfully crafted piece designed to illuminate the issue, deepen understanding, and engage a targeted audience.
“Gérard Uféras; The Fabric of Dreams” | Typography book design, 2017
This hardcover book was crafted to celebrate the photography of renowned French artist, designer, and fashion visionary Gérard Uféras. Presented entirely in black and white, each page plays with shadow, light, and angle to draw out the raw beauty of the models and the drama of every frame.
Typography Concentration | Type-set broad-side poster, 2017
Tasked with designing a typeface from scratch, I immersed myself in the intricate study of letterforms, exploring the shapes, contours, and subtle details that bring a font series to life. To bring the project full circle and master the art of tracking, leading, and spacing, I created a broadside poster to showcase the final result: Kimberly, a transitional serif typeface. The poster features both uppercase and lowercase character sets, along with typeset words that highlight the typeface’s application, rhythm, and visual elegance.
